Iredell Water Corporation is currently hiring multiple positions for Customer Service Representatives and Utility Maintenance Technicians.

Our openings for Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are for our front line and are a critical part of our water utility business. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries or complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction. In addition to being the frontline staff who directly communicate daily with our customers via phone, email and in-person, our CSRs also perform administrative support work receiving and processing customer utility payments, entering data into utility management software, and setting up new accounts.

Our openings for Utility Maintenance Technician are entry-level maintenance positions which play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity of our water distribution system and service to over 27,000 people living or working in Iredell County. From installing new water services to repairing water mains, this position’s work will directly impact our community’s access to clean water. This position requires availability for call-back or on-call rotations for possible emergency repairs after-hours and on weekends.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid NC Driver’s license with a clean driving record. Applicants must pass a pre-employment background check. The work schedule is full- time, Monday -Friday with benefits available.
