Statesville, NC, November 29, 2022:  The mission of the Iredell Water Corporation is to provide the people we serve with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water because it is critical to our community’s success. No one has embodied our mission more than Keith Snoddy, who has served as the General Manager of Iredell Water since 1988. Keith first joined Iredell Water Corporation in 1984.

Today, Iredell Water would like to thank Keith for his nearly four decades of leadership and service to our customers as we announce his retirement as GM on December 2, 2022. Danny Sloan, the current Assistant General Manager, will become General Manager on Monday, December 5. Sloan has worked for Iredell Water since 1997.

Keith has successfully overseen decades of growth within Iredell Water’s service area. When he first took over, the utility served about 3,000 customer accounts and sold approximately 20 million gallons of water a month. Today, Iredell Water provides services to more than 10,000 accounts and sells nearly 60 million gallons a month via more than 450 miles of water mains.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Keith for the last 25 years as he has managed the challenges created by our community’s growth,” said Ed Bissell, Iredell Water Corporation Board Chair. “He has always operated in the best interests of not only Iredell Water, but our customers and their need for safe, reliable water.”
